I have recently built, or rather assembled, a Thunder Tiger Neptune kit.

This model is available as a kit or fully assembled model. If you are thinking about owning a civilian type of submarine I would recommend this one. As it is a very simple job to assemble, I would recommend saving the extra cost and putting it together yourself.

Mine went together very well. The only recommendations that I would make are, to take your time, especially with the interior assembly. Secondly, there are a number of plastic arms for the radio-controlled functions, after reading a review of the build in one of the model boating magazines where the reviewer split some of the arms when inserting the locking screw, I tapped all the arms with a 3mm plug tap before assembly. My model took about two week of evenings, taking things carefully.
